The degree of Finance and
Accounting of UC3M has been accredited by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Through this
accreditation, graduates in Finance and Accounting from Carlos III will be
exempt from taking eight of the nine exams required to be accredited as a Certified
Public Accountant (CPA) in many countries.
This accreditation is
excellent news for the degree of Finance and Accounting of the University
Carlos III of Madrid, and highlights the commitment to excellence and
internationalization in this degree. Apart from the access to this
accreditation, students will have access to a wide number of services from
ACCA, including on-line training materials, job offerings and internships
worldwide, and many other advantages.
We will hold an event next
Monday 13th to formally sign the agreement between ACCA and
Universidad Carlos III. The event will count with the presence of
representatives from ACCA, the Rector of Universidad Carlos III, the
Vice-Rector of Studies, the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, the
Vice-Dean of the degree, and the Head of the Department of Business
Administration. During the same day we will have a presentation from ACCA to the
students of the degree.
