The degree in Finance and Accounting of the Carlos III University of Madrid (UC3M) has obtained the accreditation of the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), which internationalises these studies and allows students to access the services provided by this organization, such as online learning material, job offers or international scholarships.

Juan Manuel García Lara has been distinguished (ex-aequo) with the prestigious Julian Marias award that the regional government of Madrid awards researchers less than 40 years old.
