Ester Martínez-Ros

Ester Martínez-Ros is a tenured professor in the Department of Business Economics at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. She obtained her doctorate from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and holds a Master's degree in Economics from University College London.

She is a professor of Fundamentals of Business Administration and Organizational Behavior in the Degree in Business Administration and Management. She also collaborates in various doctoral programs such as that of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona or that of the Universidad Pablo de Olavide.

Her main lines of research focus on the analysis of innovation decisions by companies as well as their impact on results and the distribution of income, on the study of the determinants of innovative activity and on the existence of unobserved or uncontrolled effects in the estimation of said innovation models. Some of her contributions have been published in Research Policy, Energy Policy, International Journal of Industrial Organization, Journal of High Technology Management Research, Applied Economics, Economics of Innovation and New Technology, Small Business Economics, International Marketing Review.

In the field of management, Ester is currently the Director of the School of Continuing Education and directs the Master in Management and Business Administration online. She has held various positions of responsibility at the University as Director of the Business Graduate School, Vice-Dean of the Business Administration and Management degree, Vice-Dean of Promotion and Quality, Co-Director of an Executive Master in Management of Healthcare Organizations, Co-Director of the Master for Caixabank Executives.
