Luigi is a Full Professor of Business Organization. His research focuses on Strategic Human Resource Management, with special reference to the relationship between human resource practices and organizational performance and the implementation of human resource practices. He has published articles on these topics in both national and international journals. He regularly participates in international conferences, where he has received awards for the quality of his contributions. He serves as an anonymous reviewer for several academic journals, such as Human Relations, Human Resource Management Journal, and The International Journal of Human Resource Management. In addition, he currently works as Head of Studies of the Master in Human Resources Management at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and teaches Human Resources Strategy and Performance Management in various postgraduate programs in Europe and Latin America. In the DOCENTIA-UC3M 2020 Program, he obtained a total score of 93.72 out of 100, which represents an EXCELLENT+ assessment of teaching activity (the highest possible, obtained by 18% of the evaluated faculty). He is usually among the best permanent professors in the department due to the high satisfaction of the students with his teaching.
