Neus Palomeras and Eduardo Melero are Associate Professors of UC3M Business, David Wehrheim is their former Ph.D. student now Assistant Professor at IESE Business School.Neus, Eduardo and David’s paper examines how obtaining patent protection affects the mobility of early-career employee-inventors. Their results show how obtaining one additional patent reduces the probability of employee turnover by as much as 23%.
