This workshop aims to bring together scholars doing research about work
\nand organizations. This includes fields such as human resource
\nmanagement, industrial relations, organizational behavior and personnel
\neconomics. The workshop intends to be an informal forum to discuss
\nresearch in progress and foster collaboration among scholars in local
\ninstitutions. The workshop will have a yearly frequency and the first
\nmeeting will be in January 2011.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The
\n Madrid Work & Organizations Workshop aims to bring together
\nscholars doing research about work and organizations. This includes
\nfields such as human resource management, industrial relations,
\norganizational behavior and personnel economics. The workshop intends to
\n be an informal forum to discuss research in progress and foster
\ncollaboration among scholars in local institutions.<\/p>\n


<\/a><\/p>\n

The workshop will take place on an annual basis and our first meeting will be at Universidad Carlos III on January 21st <\/sup>2011 (tentatively from 10 am. to 4 pm).<\/p>\n

The format of the workshop will consist of brief (~30 minutes) paper presentations followed by a discussion.<\/p>\n

We invite submissions by professors and PhD students. If you like to present a paper, please send a one-page abstract to jaime.ortega@uc3m.es<\/a> by December 1st <\/sup>2010.
\n If you are not ready to send a paper but would like to volunteer as a
\ndiscussant, please let us know. For any questions, please contact any
\nmember of the organizing committee.<\/p>\n
