The aim of the Symposia is to invite<br \/>\ntop academic speakers who work in the area of human resources to present<br \/>\n their own research. The Symposia wish to bring together scholars with<br \/>\ndifferent disciplinary backgrounds, such as economics, psychology and<br \/>\nsociology, as well as researchers with multidisciplinary backgrounds.<\/p>\n<p>The second Symposium will take place on October 5 at Carlos III&#8217;s campus in Getafe. The speakers will be <a href=\"https:\/\/mgmt.wharton.upenn.edu\/profile\/1385\/\">Matthew Bidwell<\/a> (Wharton), <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/a\/colgate.edu\/takao-kato\/\">Takao Kato<\/a> (Colgate University), and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.london.edu\/facultyandresearch\/faculty\/search.do?uid=mormiston\">Margaret Ormiston<\/a> (London Business School)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mgmt.wharton.upenn.edu\/profile\/1385\/\">Matthew Bidwell<\/a><br \/>\n is mainly interested in the increasing market-orientation of HR<br \/>\nmanagement practices and his research pays attention to topics such as<br \/>\noutsourcing and inter-organizational careers. <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/a\/colgate.edu\/takao-kato\/\">Takao Kato<\/a> is an economist who has extensively studied &#8220;high-performance&#8221; work practices and international industrial relations. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.london.edu\/facultyandresearch\/faculty\/search.do?uid=mormiston\">Margaret Ormiston<\/a><br \/>\n does research in OB and has mostly studied top management teams&#8217;<br \/>\nethical behavior, using innovate data gathering and analysis techniques.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"textoAvanzado\">\n<div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Organizing Committee:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"mailto:jaime.ortega@uc3m.es\">Jaime Ortega<\/a> (U.
