In the United Kingdom, for example, it is the license that is<br \/>\nrequired for accountants to offer their services to the public.The signing of the agreement between the rector of the UC3M, Juan Romo, and the Head of Business and<br \/>\nAcademic Development in Western Europe and North America of ACCA, Abdul Goffar,<br \/>\ntook place on the Getafe campus of the University. The act was also attended,<br \/>\nby the UC3M, by the Vice Chancellor for Studies, Isabel Guti\u00e9rrez Calder\u00f3n; the<br \/>\ndean of the Faculty of Social and Legal Sciences, Rosa Rodr\u00edguez L\u00f3pez; the<br \/>\nvice-dean of Academic Planning and Infrastructures and the Degree in Finance<br \/>\nand Accounting, Silvia Mayoral Blaya; the director of the Department of Economy<br \/>\nof the Company, Juan Manuel Garc\u00eda Lara, and the full professor of financial<br \/>\neconomics and accounting Beatriz Garc\u00eda Osma. On behalf of ACCA has also<br \/>\nassisted its Senior Business Development Manager in Western Europe, Enrique<br \/>\nMonge.<br \/>\nThe Association of Chartered<br \/>\nPublic Accountants (ACCA) can be considered as the world reference organization<br \/>\nin the field of accounting. Founded in 1904, it currently has some 198,000<br \/>\nmembers and 490,000 students from 178 countries.
