This edition, directed by Prof. Leandro Ca\u00f1ibano (UAM) and coordinated by Dr. Beatriz Garc\u00eda (UC3M), was attended by over 60 participants: academics, PhD students<br \/>\nand professionals from the ICJCE\/AT1 attended the nine sessions of the<br \/>\nSymposium, which was hosted by the Fundaci\u00f3n Ram\u00f3n Areces, and organized<br \/>\n in collaboration with INDEM.Amongst the speaker, this year, the Symposium had lectures by distinguished guest speakers\u00a0Henri Dekker, Daniel Ferreira, Kevin Jackson, Christian Leuz, Per Olsson, Bill Rees\u00a0and\u00a0Hanno Roberts. In addition, we hosted a Colloquium on Writing by\u00a0Susan Hancock\u00a0to orient early stage\u00a0researchers\u00a0on how to write and publish their manuscripts.Over 35 participants submitted papers for presentation in the two<br \/>\nsessions dedicated to participant presentations. Finally, 18 papers were<br \/>\n accepted for presentation.
