Mónica López-Puertas Lamy is a Visiting Professor of Accounting in the Department of Business Economics at the Universidad Carlos III.

Mónica is a Certified Auditor and holds a doctorate in Economics, Management and Organization from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona. She has a master's degree in Economics, Management and Organization from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, a Master's in Auditing and Advanced Accounting from the University of Malaga, and a degree in Economics from the University of Malaga and in Business Administration from the University of Southampton (UK).

Her research interests focus on the field of accounting and financial economics, more specifically on aspects related to banking economics, corporate governance and business management.
