As part of its mission to support the development of doctoral students, the Journal of Management Studies (JMS) will hold a Professional Development Workshop at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M). The workshop will focus on such topics as publishing, writing for impact, reviewing, and managing academic careers.The event will take place on Thursday April 25 2019, from 13:15 until 19:00, and will combine editors’ presentations on publishing in top management journals (featuring examples of papers that have been through the editorial process).The workshop will be led by Igor Filatotchev (King’s College London), JMS General Editor, with the participation of:- Julio De Castro, Director of the PhD program at IE Business School.- Juan Manuel Garcia Lara, Chair of the Department of Business Administration at UC3M.To participate, please send your CV and a brief description of research interests to Nikolaos Kavadis, nkavadis@emp.uc3m.es by Monday February 11 2019.To ensure effective interaction, the workshop will be limited to a maximum of 20 selected participants. Anna Toldrà Simats, Bing Guo and Sergio Vicente received a research grant from Ramón Areces Foundation.
Our colleages have obtained a research grant awarded by the Fundación Ramón Areces. Their project is lead by Anna Toldrà and it is entitled “¿Qué impulsa la innovación? El papel de la regulación de los mercados de capitales, bancario y de bienes”.
