Our colleague Clara Eugenia García, who is AssociateProfessor of our Department (currently on leave at the Ministry of Economics and Innovation), has been appointed General Director of Research Policy,
Development and Innovation (https://www.boe.es/diario_boe/txt.php?id=BOE-A-2016-11160).
Clara has been the person behind the development of very important research programs
like Severo Ochoa and María de Maeztu.

Congratulations Clara for this great and well-deserved distinction!
