We are very pleased to announce that Prof. Hans Frankort, from Cass Business School (City University of London) and Argyro Avgoustaki, from ESCP London, will be visiting our department for the next three months (until june 9th).Hans’s research focuses on the determinants and consequences of inter-organizational relationships, with particular emphasis on research and development alliances in technology-intensive industries. You can learn more about his research at https://sites.google.com/site/hfrankort/Argyro is a former PhD from our department. Her research is framed in the area of human resource management. Some of the topics she has researched are the impact of on-the-job training on firm productivity and the role of high performance work practices such as job rotation and discretion mechanisms in employee overtime.
